Khoi Nguyen at Vietnam Festival of Creativity & Design 2020

The Vietnam Festival of Creativity & Design 2020 (VFCD) was presented by RMIT Vietnam in collaboration with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), Vietnam National Institute of Culture and Arts Studies (VICAS) and EnPointe Management Corporation (Colab Vietnam), and other stakeholders in local creative fields.

As part of VFCD 2020, on the 7th of November at Ban Cong Cafe, Hanoi, Khoi Nguyen led the public talk The 3 C's of Hanoi: Culture, Coffee & Creativity to present the international audience a story of Hanoi's culture, coffee culture and how it became a creative city thanks to the development of new creative coffee concept within the city.

Hanoi's culture blends into its architectural legacy, and Hanoi's coffee plays a vital part in the city. Coffee shops are where people meet up, hang out, go on dates and even doing businesses, today, the new creative concept of coffee shops in Hanoi bring fresh air of creativity in the thousand year old capital while preserving the traditional values of Hanoi. That's how Hanoians celebrate and pay respect to the city's cultural identity, which is the message that Khoi Nguyen delivered during the talk. Some of the most notable creative spaces are found in the chicest cafes in the city: Manzi, Vui Studio, Bancong and many more.

As one of the first events to kick off VFCD 2020, The 3 C's of Hanoi: Culture, Coffee & Creativity witnessed the attendance of many young Vietnamese as well as the international community living in Hanoi and helped promoting the identity of Hanoi as an UNESCO's Creative City.
