With 459 rooms and full services from restaurants, fitness rooms, spa rooms and guest facilities, this place is a worthy high-end Phu Quoc resort.
From the moment stepping into the lobby, I was welcomed by the design excellence that epitomizes this modern property. It was a moment of ‘wow’ from the impressive architecture, and you could actually feel the sea breeze immediately because of the large, open space. Inspired by the shape of a starfish, the symbol of Phu Quoc, InterContinental Phu Quoc is well designed and placed in such a right spot that took the most advantages of natural light and wind direction.
And hey, I’m not even kidding, I know the weather is hot but you can be just fine chilling here in the main lobby without needing an air conditioner or a fan. I felt so comfortable here spending a couple of minutes enjoying the super nice welcome drink ( I actually asked for another cup because it was so good) and that gorgeous view overlooking the clear beach and the blue lake.
First impression is always essential, and this place does an amazing job to achieve that.
Throughout the whole resort from the main lobby to the rooms, you can easily notice a modern design using a soothing color theme of creams, white and blue, which I think is quite a signature theme of InterContinental hotels in Vietnam.
The interior of the rooms at InterContinental Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort is inspired by the purest value of the clear blue sea and the island itself. Modern conveniences are cleverly integrated by the architects to create a high-class stay for guests. The small detail is taken care of very well too. Bed sheets, pillowcases all have high quality silk and are extremely soft, creating absolute relaxation, so I guess the difficulty you may have during your stay here is that it’s actually not easy to wake up early for the sunrise and breakfast.
My favorite part of the room is actually the bathroom. It is luxuriously designed with high-class amenities imported from famous brands, and a large vanity. The highlight is the bathtub placed next to the glass window, providing a relaxing, laid-back feeling next to great views of the greenery and sunlight from the backyard.
With a system of 459 hotel rooms, apartments and villas combining luxury, modernity and sophistication with a view of the ocean surrounded by trees, this place is definitely an ideal place to stay.
